Israel’s embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, and the city of Rehovot are the deadliest bombs of the September 11 attack on Iran
The Israeli prime minister’s office says at least eight people were killed and 100 others were injured when Iranian missiles and drones hit Tel Aviv and Haifa.
On social media, President Trump said the U.S. had “nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight,” but warned that if the U.S. was attacked by Iran in any way, that “the full strength of U.S. Armed forces will come down on [Iran] at levels never seen before.”
It marked the hardest night for Israelis since the start of the fighting, with at least ten casualty, including children, and hundreds injured.
The deadliest strikes hit a residential building in Bat Yam, a suburb south of Tel Aviv, killing at least six people including a 10-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl. Another 180 people were wounded and seven still missing, according to local police.
Four people were killed in Petah Tikvah, when an Iranian missile hit a residential building. The men and women were all in their 70s. Photographs of babies being saved from the rubble were shared by Israel’s emergency services.
More than 30 people were injured and several buildings at the Weizmann Institute of Science were also struck in the central city of Rehovot. The center said no one was hurt, despite the extensive damage.

The rebels in Yemen claimed they had aided Iran by launching missiles at Israel. Israel’s military confirmed that on Friday a group launched missiles at Israel, just as Iran retaliated for Israeli strikes.
The Iranian Quds Force’s command centers were struck by the Israeli military overnight, killing four officials including the head of the intelligence organization.
Iran’s Health Ministry says more than 200 people have been killed since the start of Israel’s offensive, including many women and children, and more than 1,000 people have been injured.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called on both sides to “show maximum restraint” and Pope Leo XIV called for “sincere dialogue” after stating the situation between Israel and Iran had “deteriorated drastically.”
If confirmed, the strike would mark the latest blow in a string of hits to Iran’s military power since Israel launched its surprise attack last week targeting the country’s nuclear capabilities. Iran’s nuclear program is seen as a threat to Israel’s national security.
The strikes came a day after the U.N. nuclear watchdog declared that Iran wasn’t complying with nuclear nonproliferation agreements aimed at halting the spread of nuclear weapons. Iran reacted saying it would create a new uranium enrichment facility. Iran says its uranium enrichment program is for peaceful purposes.

On Saturday, the minister said that the meeting was canceled. But he said “diplomacy and dialogue remain the only pathway to lasting peace.”
The U.S. consulate in Tel Aviv will be closed on Monday after a missile hit it. Mike Huckabee said in a post on X. No U.S. personnel were hurt. Despite continued international calls for de-escalation, neither side showed signs it was prepared to enter talks.

In a post on his Truth Social site Sunday, President Trump renewed calls for Iran and Israel to make a deal, but later told reporters “sometimes, they just have to fight it out.”
Israeli military spokesman Brig. The Air Force had achieved “full aerial superiority” over Tehran on Monday, according to Gen. Defrin. He stated that the military had destroyed half of Iran’s missiles.
