Is the baby boy in a stolen car, where do you come from? A prayer call for the safe return of Kason and Kyair Thomass
Family members and community leaders in Columbus, Ohio, gathered Wednesday to pray for the safe return of a 5-month-old twin who went missing in a stolen car.
The baby boy and his twin, Kason and Kyair Thomass, were inside a black 2010 Honda Accord Monday night while their mother was picking up a restaurant order as she worked as a DoorDash driver.
“If you look at him and you see anything, see a precious child who’s longing for his mother,” she said. Please do the right thing, bring my baby home, we beg you.
“This car has to be somewhere,” Potts said. If you see something that looks out of the ordinary, we want to know about it and we need you to give us tips. We want to bring his baby home.” There have been no reported incidents, police said.
I request you to return Kason Thomas. We thank you for returning Kyair. You’ve already shown us you can do the right thing. During a news conference Tuesday, Police Chief Elaine Bryant said that he could be returned to any safe location.
Kason, a 5-month-old boy who was left without a license plate and whose vehicle had no license plate at the Dayton International Airport
The vehicle did not have a license plate when it was recently purchased and it made it difficult to track it down, the deputy chief said.
There is a car with a torn Ohio registration sticker on the rear bumper and another car with a white bumper sticker.
A search for a 5-month-old boy is entering a fourth day Thursday, with Columbus, Ohio, investigators continuing to plead with his suspected kidnapper to return the child.
The mother, Wilhelmina Barnett, came out of the restaurant to find the car gone, along with her twins. Kyair was found abandoned near the Dayton International Airport around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The suspect, Nalah Jackson, 24, was awaiting extradition to Columbus, where she faces two felony counts of kidnapping. A warrant for Jackson’s arrest was filed through the Franklin County Court, according to an online docket. Online court records show that Jackson was charged with battery of bodily waste by the Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle Jackson is suspected of stealing was recently purchased and did not have a license plate and its VIN number wasn’t registered, which made it harder to track, Weir said.
The last confirmed sighting of Jackson was at the airport, Columbus Police Deputy Chief Smith Weir said. There have been no confirmed sightings of Kason so far.
Jackson was seen asking people at the airport to use their phone, and the video was obtained by investigators. Some people were contacted by police, he said.
Kason, an Indiana baby missing in a stolen vehicle, had been taken into custody by a stranger at a McDonald’s for rest
The two Indianapolis police officers who were looking for a missing baby in a stolen vehicle had stopped to eat and get their wits about them.
We were disappointed that we could not find him and so we decided it was time for a rest. Shawn Anderson is a member of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. The heavens opened up for us and the God almost took him and put him in our hands.
There, outside a Papa John’s in the very plaza where Anderson and Sgt. Richard El stopped at a restaurant to eat. Kason was inside. The five-month-old had been missing for nearly three full days, and had likely been alone for most of the time.
He was cold, but he was awake and moving around a bit, El said in an interview. “His eyes were open wide and just trying to take everything in.”
According to the report, Kason’s family said he was doing well to be expected under the circumstances. The twins’ grandmother said she was overwhelmed by the discovery.
