Joe Manchin doesn’t think Biden is a good fit for the job and he isn’t sold on Trump

Haley’s Southern Super-Tuesday Campaign: Why Hillary is’more dangerous’ than Trump but neither is fit for the job

Even though she continues to trail Trump in primary polls at home, Haley said in a Tuesday campaign speech that she would continue campaigning until “the last person votes.”

She’s raised money and is campaigning ahead of Saturday. Haley’s campaign says she “has the resources to go the distance” and raised the most funds in a single month in January, at more than $16 million.

“I would encourage my fellow Republicans to understand that we need to prevent war. If Ukraine defeats Russia in the match, it will be the only way to prevent war.

If Russia won the war in Ukraine she said that Biden didn’t explain the stakes to the American people. The goal of Haley is to avoid war and that’s what she wants.

“The focus is making sure that Ukraine has the equipment and ammunition they need so that they can finish this. They have a good fighting force. She said that they just need the tools to finish it.

“I don’t like that Donald Trump is going to be president,” she told reporters in a phone interview with Sherpa Haley

“People don’t like when he says crazy things like he’d rather take Putin’s side over our allies, and they don’t like that at all,” Haley said. People don’t like when he mocks the military. People don’t like it when he calls people names.”

The governor spoke against the hate, division, and chaos that was caused by Trump. She compared the ex-president to a “bully,” and stressed that he failed to obtain significant portions of the electorate in Iowa and New Hampshire.

I have a lot of concerns about Trump taking the presidency. I have even more concerns about Joe Biden being president. I mean, you look at both of these men and all they have done is given us chaos, all they have given us is division,” Haley said.

“I think it’s important that the majority of Americans don’t like either of them,” she said. “So we think that there needs to be an alternative.”

I have a lot of concerns about Trump regaining the presidency. I have even more concerns about Joe Biden being president. All the men have done is give us chaos, and that’s all they have done.

A phone interview with New York Senator Elizabeth Day Haley during a campaign bus ride through South Carolina to South Carolina and back again in South Carolina on March 5

“I haven’t actually sat down and thought about what comes after that,” Haley admitted. Between South Carolina and Super Tuesday, 20 states have voted and that’s more representation we want, to let people’s voices be heard.

“Right now, the furthest we’ve thought is we certainly are going to go past South Carolina, go into Michigan and go into Super Tuesday states,” she said in a phone interview with Morning Edition while riding through rural South Carolina on her campaign bus.

In an interview with NPR, she hedged a bit, pledging to stay in though at least the Super Tuesday, critical primary contests in a wide array of states on March 5.

“We need to starting bringing normalcy back to America and that’s why I think we need to have a new generational leader that focuses on the solutions of the future instead of all the issues of the past,” Haley told NPR’s Steve Inskeep on Wednesday during in an interview for Morning Edition.

“I don’t look at age,” the democratic senator told NPR’s Michel Martin. “I look at [candidates] person by person. And with Joe Biden, every time I’ve been with him, we’ve talked, I’ve had no problem whatsoever”.

In the year 2021, Manchin refused to support the bill after the White House made several concessions in an effort to soothe his concerns. He similarly withheld his vote from Biden’s federal voting rights, climate-change agendas and tax reform policies by refusing to join with fellow Democrats in an evenly divided Senate.

The senator decided last week to forgo running for the presidency in ten years’ time because he had been flirting with a third party. He never endorsed a candidate, but he praised the GOP’s only other competitor, the former U.S. Ambassador Haley.

Is Joe Manchin the Strongest Product in the House? “I’m sorry to hear about Joe” Biden and the No Labels Group

It’s very difficult with the businesses that are in Washington because they have picked a product and decided who they think would be their strongest product. And that’s what they’re going to go with. I do not fit in the Democratic process and the Republicans are doing things as well. I’ve always been independent minded.

I thought about that. And I’ve been with the No Labels Group since 2010, because I think they’re a wonderful group. They are trying to always give an opportunity for that middle minded person to have a venue. I’ve appreciated that they’ve been working and moving towards putting a unity ticket together. I think that it’s trying to give someone an option. I don’t want to be a part of this because it’s not the right time, but I believe it is.

[Biden’s team] keeps playing to the base versus where the voters are going to be. This next election will be decided by moderate, centrist, independent voters. They aren’t talking to them.

I think we need to be reverting to a moderate, centrist position where people are comfortable and don’t think they are being pushed. They don’t think that you have the finger or your thumb on the scale and are moving things too far to the left.

I wonder about how we deal with crime in this country, what we do about the border and how we deal with the fiscal responsibility that we have. I think that people don’t take the debt of this nation seriously. I think the greatest challenge that we have is getting our finances under control. You can’t spend your money like a drunken sailor.

Reply to “Sen. Joe Manchin on why he can’t endorse Trump, but isn’t sold on Biden”

I have said there’s no way I could support or vote for Donald Trump. I think it would be very detrimental to our country, and to our world standing. We have a lot of things in upheaval.

I just thought it was horrendous when a former president could not have condolences to a family that lost a 47 year old husband, a father and a son in a country that basically just eliminates their opposition. It’s wrong when former President Trump couldn’t say he was in love with the Navalny family. There’s nothing right about this. He is very silent and does not say a word. It seems like he kind of admires the people that operate and govern that way, such as Putin. It scares me.

The 118th Congress is going through a bad time: Sen. Joe Manchin on why he can’t endorse Trump, but isn’t sold on Biden

I would consider anyone that truly puts their country before themselves and wants to bring people together. But you when you start denigrating and villainizing other people. When hatred and revenge are going to be the mode of operation. That’s not right. There’s nothing normal about that.

The 118th Congress will go down as the least productive in the history of the United States of America because it was so bad. That is a sad situation. Only 39 bills have been passed so far. We pass about 500 bills a year.

What I’ve Learned Over the Last Three Years: Providing for a Quality of Life, for People Who Can’t Always Have a Chance

I have been very adamantly supportive of trying to give every American a chance to have a quality of life, no matter what the race to matter what their religion, no matter what their sexual preferences. But when you try to normalize, those are on the extremes which might be on a different path or taking in life, that makes it hard. People don’t approve of the government pushing that into the mainstream. That is not the government’s role. And I’ve said this all my life. I never have believed the government would be my provider. Government was my partner, whether it be local, municipalities, local, county, local and a state government. They were not my provider, nor did I expect them to be. I hope that government had the compassion and moral values to help people who can’t help themselves. That’s basically who I am; what I’ve always tried to do andwhat I will always do.
