Where to buy the Pro 2 controller and other accessories

Preordering Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 Controllers and Wheels from Walmart, Best Buy, and Target (with preorders now coming up later)

The Pro 2 controller is one of the accessories that have seen slight price increases because of President Trump’s tariffs. There’s no telling whether we can expect more price hikes down the line, either, meaning if you do manage to preorder a Switch 2 and want to pick up a second controller or another accessory to go with it, now might be the time to act.

The console has a pair of Joy-Con 2 controllers that can be magnetically attached to the console, and there is a new “C-button” which can be used to add chat features to games. Inside the box, you’ll also find a redesigned dock, a basic Joy-Con grip, Joy-Con wrist straps, an AC adapter, a USB-C charging capable, and an HDMI cable.

If you plan on picking up the new Mario Kart World, the Joy-Con 2 Wheels are worth a look. Simply snap the Joy-Con 2 controllers, which connect magnetically, into the steering wheel attachments before booting up your preferred racing title. Preorders for the two-wheel set start at $24.88 from Walmart, Best Buy, and Target.

The All-In-One Carrying Case will be more spacious than the model mentioned above on June 5th. The higher-end case has separate compartments for holding the console and other items, including Joy-Con 2 controllers, cables, and game cards. You can preorder it now from Walmart, Best Buy, and Target for around $84.

The bundle — which includes a console-only carrying case, screen protector, and cleaning cloth — is available for preorder for $39.99 from Best Buy and Target.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Camera – A Guide to Preordering Nintendo Switch U Games and Super Mario Kart World Bundle from GameStop

Supposedly, you can video chat with friends via GameChat using any compatible USB-C camera, but Nintendo offers its own solution in the form of the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera. The 1080p camera is designed to sit on a stand, allowing you to display your face as a picture-in-picture overlay or as a dedicated video feed. Some titles allow you to watch your friends on-screen while you play. Some mini-games even incorporate the camera into the game experience itself.

A wide-angle lens, as well as a high-sensitivity image sensor, are included with the camera. It also supports TV, handheld modes, and has a built-in privacy shutter.

Most major retailers launched their Nintendo Switch 2 preorders at 12AM ET on April 24th and sold out quickly — but thankfully, GameStop is doing things a bit differently. The company says it’s kicking off in-store preorders when the “doors open” today, with online preorders going live at 11AM ET. In this guide, we will walk you through how to pre-order for the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch 2 bundle with all the details you need to be one of the first to get it.

If you’ve been eyeing the new Mario Kart game, you’ll probably want Nintendo’s limited release Switch 2 bundle. Like the standard console, GameStop will open online preorders for the $499.99 Mario Kart World bundle today, April 24th, at 11AM ET / 8AM PT, with in-store availability starting when locations open today. The bundle will save you $30 on a digital copy of Mario Kart World, but it will only be available through the fall of 2025, so you’ll have to wait. In addition to Mario Kart World and a Switch 2, the bundle includes all the accessories that come with the standard configuration, such as Joy-Con 2 controllers, a dock, and the required HDMI cable.
