Tom Brady gets a roughing-the-passer penalty as the Bucs snap their losing streak.

Two touchdowns and one touchdown in the Bucs’ win against the Miami Dolphins in a 21-point lead at the Colosseum

Brady threw a touchdown pass to Leonard Fournette while the running back also scored a touchdown as the Pirates raced into a 21-point lead.

Sunday’s victory wasn’t without controversy though, as Brady and the Bucs benefited from a controversial roughing-the-passer penalty call late in the game which allowed them to hold on to the end.

Atlanta was able to attempt a comeback, as it led by six points with just over three minutes left in the game, because Falcons defensive lineman Grady Jarrett seemingly stopped the drive with a sack on third down.

However, referee Jeremy Boger threw a flag penalizing Jarrett for roughing the passer; Jarrett had wrapped Brady in his arms before rolling to the ground with Brady.

Following the incident with the Miami Dolphins quarterback, which resulted in changes to the concussion protocol, Boger said he hadn’t been instructed to keep a particular eye on tackles to quarterbacks.

I saw that person being called. I saw it against Tua since he got it. I saw it in the London game this morning,” Bowles said. “So I think they’re starting to crack down on some of the things, slinging back, I don’t know. Right now, the way that they’re calling it, I think a lot of people would have gotten that call.”

After the game Brady said he didn’t throw flags, while one of the Falcons’ longest serving players refused to talk to the media.

The Buccaneers were soundly beaten by the Chiefs at home after being displaced by Hurricane Ian. During the game, Brady appeared to have suffered an arm injury – although he downplayed the seriousness of any potential long-term damage afterwards.

However, two late Falcons touchdowns – an eight-yard run from Avery Williams and then a 19-yard pass from Marcus Mariota to Olamide Zaccheaus – brought the possibility of a dramatic finish.

“It’s all about the win,” Brady said after the 55th game-winning drive of his 23-year career. It is all about the victory, man. I never cared about the [records]. All about the win.”

“That’s football – you’ve got to earn it. There’s no easy games; you’ve got to play good. Certainly, five games in, we’ve got a lot of work to do. We have a lot of people who need to step up because we aren’t capable of being at this point.

We had a lot of three-and-outs. We just weren’t very good. In the second half, it was not our best. We have to learn from it and get better.”

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16-13 win over the Los Angeles Rams: A perfect victory for a 21-year-old quarterback

And on Sunday, he became the first player in NFL history to reach 100,000 passing yards in his career, combining regular season and playoffs, in a 16-13 comeback win for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the Los Angeles Rams.

The record for Brady was monumental, but he was most pleased with what the veteran quarterback did against the Rams.

“We powered through a lot of tough things this year. Happy to win the division; it’s always tough to do it. NFL games are tough to win and we always figure out a way to keep them somehow exciting. I wish they wouldn’t be as exciting as we made it, but I’m happy we got the win and happy so many guys contributed.”

After being held to no points in the first three quarters, Brady was given a chance in the fourth quarter to rescue the game.

Coming against the reigning Super Bowl champions, it snapped a three-game losing streak and improved the team’s record to 4-5 on the season and put them back on top of the NFC South.

The 45-year-old will be in the playoffs for the fifth year in a row thanks to the 30-24 victory by the Atlanta Falcons against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

At Raymond James Stadium they fell behind twice and were able to come back to win their second successive division title.

Brady and the Bucs – Opening the New Year with 200 Receiving Yards and Three Scores, and Revisiting Their Successes

Brady produced his best performance of what has been a disappointing season so far, completing 34 of 45 passes for 432 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.

Afterwards, the Bucs quarterback – having sealed his place in the NFL playoffs for the 14th consecutive season – praised his team’s resolve as an up and down regular season approaches its finale.

Evans caught 10 passes for 207 yards and the trio of touchdown passes. Not only did the monster afternoon extend his streak of consecutive seasons with 1,000 receiving yards to nine, becoming the first NFL player to open his career with such a streak, Evans also became the first Bucs player to record 200 or more receiving yards and three scores in a single game.

You work hard in the business to give yourself a chance to play more games. So, we have done that. We put ourselves in a position to compete more than just one other game. Yes, excitement, sure. Definitely.
