The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has urged parents “not to panic” if they are unable to find fever-reducing medicines for children, amid rising COVID-19 cases. “Fevers from common respiratory viruses in and of themselves aren’t harmful,” AAP said. “These medicines are not curative. They’re essentially purely for comfort,” it added.
