Developing countries need to show recognition and responsibility in helping to finance reconstruction and rehabilitation costs of climate impacts, said Avinash Persaud, special climate envoy for Barbados. “This climate problem was caused by the industrialization of rich countries…they do need to show some responsibility in helping to finance the reconstruction and rehabilitation costs,” he added.
