US House of Representatives Speaker-elect Kevin McCarthy has said that he “will never leave” the position if he’s re-elected. McCarthy, who is currently the Majority Leader, is facing a challenge from two Republicans for his post in the elections. The two Republican members who are challenging him are Pennsylvania’s Scott Perry and Virginia’s Bob Good.
