Utah’s state legislature has passed a bill that will allow people with gender dysphoria to undergo gender reassignment surgery and hormones. The bill was introduced by state Sen Mike Kennedy, a Republican family doctor. Last year, Utah became the first state to allow students to use the bathroom that corresponds with their gender identity.
