A report by US’ National Snow and Ice Data Center has revealed that Greenland’s melting ice sheet is the second-largest contributor to sea-level rise. Researchers have found two million-year-old DNA sequences in Greenland’s Kap Kbenhavn, the oldest ever obtained from frozen soil.
