Four US military personnel were injured on Monday in a drone attack in southeastern Syria, the country’s Health Ministry said. In response, the US carried out several airstrikes against facilities used by militants. An Iran-backed umbrella group of militias called the Islamic Resistance in Iraq said it was behind the attack, but Iran denied involvement.
