A judge in Arizona rejected the Republican’s election challenge.
The Democratic candidate in the US’ Arizona Governor’s race, Katie Hobbs, is leading her Republican rival Kari Lake by about 31,000 votes. Hobbs is the first woman and first Democrat to win the state’s Governor’s race. Hobbs was endorsed by ex-President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, who also helped organise Trump’s inauguration last year.
