A petition has been launched by over 1,000 Microsoft employees against the company’s ties with Israel. The petition states that Microsoft’s “responsible” AI work powers the Israeli military’s “surveilling and murder”. It also alleges that Microsoft’s AI tools are used to create information from mass surveillance and translate it into hundreds of different languages.
