A comparison of X-ray and MRI patterns in the lattice of intact muscle tissue was made. The MRI pattern showed a wide-angle pattern of intact muscle at the same scale as that in intact muscle. We compared our reconstruction with X-ray diffraction data, which provide information on filament structure in the lattice of intact muscle.
