The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has nominated its leader Shehbaz Sharif as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan, ending a two-day stalemate after the February 8 general elections. PML-N won 79 seats in the National Assembly while Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) won 86 seats. Shehbaz will become the first non-Muslim Prime Minister of Pakistan.
