US President Donald Trump signed an executive order that gives authority to the President and Attorney General to interpret laws of the Executive branch. The order was issued in response to the dismissal of Russell Vought as the director of the Office of Management and Budget. Trump earlier called Vought’s move “unconstitutional” and “politically motivated”.
