The Israeli Security Cabinet on Tuesday approved the US-brokered ceasefire deal between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah, PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said. The announcement came during some of the heaviest fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in months.
