The entrance to the park was damaged by floods in June
Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks in the US reopened the Northeast Entrance Road on Saturday, four months after it was closed due to a severe flood. “We are very pleased to be restoring public access to the northeast corridor just four months after the June flood event,” Superintendent Cam Sholly said.
