Google Co-founder Susan Wojcicki passed away aged 53 on Tuesday after a two-year-long battle with lung cancer. Wojcicki co-founded Google and YouTube with her childhood friend Steve Jobs in the early 1990s. She was Google’s Executive Chairman from 2012 to 2017 and left Google in 2018 to become CEO of YouTube, Google’s parent company.
