The World Health Organization’s Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus said that with the forced evacuations and ongoing military bombardment from Israel, Gaza’s medical system is “on its knees” and “without fortifications”. He added that the situation in the Palestinian territories is “terrible”, stating that hundreds of patients are trapped and 14,000 people are sheltering at Al-Quds Hospital.
