The US state of Michigan has recorded a record 24.8 inches of snow on Friday, setting a new single-day record, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. Parts of northern parts of Michigan and eastern Upper Michigan will see lake effect snow through Monday night that will create “hazardous travel conditions”, it added.
