Pennsylvania voters have elected Democratic Summer Lee as their state’s first Black woman to serve in Congress. In Maryland, voters have elected Democratic Wes Moore as their state’s first Black governor. North Carolina voters have also elected Democrats to five of the last six governors and two of the last six senators.
