The arrest of a former policewoman in a raid on a human trafficking organisation: the Tate brothers are still at the Tates residence

Romanian news outlet Antena 3 CNN reports that, along with the two brothers, a former policewoman was taken into DIICOT headquarters for questioning. A video shared by the Gndul shows Tate being led away from a villa that appears to be the one featured in some of his videos.

This is the second time investigators have come to the location after a complaint in April that an American was being held at the Tates residence. When they were taken in for questioning, the brothers also had to be released. The Tate brothers are in the country and prosecutors are waiting to catch them.
According to reports, this raid occurred due to Tate’s response to a post on the micro-blogging site, which included a video where he could be seen eating pizza from a European pizza chain. Twitter was on the list of platforms that banned Tate. However, Vox.com reports his account was reactivated after five years in November.
Gndul reported that police were called after seeing information on the social networks that the brothers were in Romania.

DIICOT also shared its own video of the raid, with blurred images of luxury cars that appear to match the ones Tate has displayed in his videos, as well as items like guns, knives, and money.
Police in Romania have arrested four people as part of an investigation into human trafficking and rape. They did not mention anyone who was in custody.
The DIICOT said the four were arrested for an initial period of time. It asked a Bucharest court on Friday for the detentions to be extended to 30 days, according to Reuters.
DIICOT released an edited, grainy, sometimes out-of-focus video purportedly showing the raids. A man can be seen being patted down by police. It’s unclear who is being detained in the video.
In a video aired by CNN affiliate Antena 3, officers from the crime agency could be seen escorting Andrew and Tristan Tate into police vehicles.
They allege the suspects had formed an organized criminal group that stretched from Romania to Britain and the United States, for the purpose of human trafficking.

According to media outlets in the region, he had been arrested for human trafficking, rape and forming an organized crime group.
In 2016, he tried his hand at reality TV, but was kicked off the British version of Big Brother over a video of him hitting a woman with a belt. Tate said the video was a “total lie” that had been edited to make him look bad.
On social media, Tate became a vocal supporter of former President Trump and was spotted around Washington, D.C., with prominent conspiracy theorists and on right-wing talk shows like Infowars.
He was banned from the social media site in 2017 after saying that women should be held responsible for sexual assaults. His account was briefly suspended in November, but was regained later that month.
Tate has stated that women shouldn’t be Allowed to drive a car, and that they should not be allowed to reside in the home. He says he prefers 18- and 19-year-old women because they are more impressionable.
His polemic style is particularly popular among Gen Zers. One survey conducted by the investment bank Piper Sandler this fall found that Tate ranked as the favorite influencer among those under 18.

Tate posted a video of himself in a paneled room, wearing a Versace robe and smoking a cigar, stating that he was being forced to beg his government to tax him into poverty to stop the sun from being.
He gestured off camera to ask someone to bring him pizza. “Make sure that these boxes are not recycled,” he quips as he sets the two pie-carrying parcels down on the table so the blue and red branding of “Jerry’s Pizza” is clearly visible to the camera.
When the video of Tate’s alleged arrest began to circulate, some people believed the boxes that came from a local pie joint were the proof that he was in the country.
Several have since walked back that claim, saying they merely made an assumption. NPR asked for more information from the authorities in Romania.
According to a video he posted on YouTube, 40% of the reason he moved to Romania was because the police were less likely to look into sexual assault allegations.
Tate referred to the incident with a reference to The Matrix that is a signature of his Hustlers University philosophy.
The Associated Press reported a Bucharest judge extended Tate’s arrest warrant by 30 days. He’ll be held in detention while authorities investigate, but his decision could be appealed at any time, said a spokesman for the anti-crime agency.
“There’s no evidence in my file because I’ve done nothing wrong. Everybody knows I’m innocent, ” Andrew Tate said. As he was led into DIICOT headquarters, he added: “There is no justice in Romania.”
The Tate brothers are being vindicated by the evidence, according to one of their lawyers.
