This year, Amazon has an event called Prime Early Access that runs from October 11 to October 12.

Amazon Echo Show 8: A Low-Cost Smart Display for a Family Room with Sound Machines and Echo-Memory, Timers, and Cooking
The best overall speaker in our review was the Echo (4th Gen). You can use it in the bathroom to play music while you shower, in the kitchen to make recipes and timers, or in the room to play music if you have a small room.
The best price we have tracked is this one. It is a bad alarm, but a decent one at night. It works well for children in a guest room, because of the fact thatAlexa speakers can double as sound machines. The lamp must be connected to either an echo device or the smart assistant to be turned on.
The Amazon Echo Show 8 is our favorite Alexa-powered smart display, and this price brings it down to $5 cheaper than we saw during this past Prime Day—a historic low. The Best Early-Amazon Prime Day Deals Access-Sale Pixel 6A, Pixel 6Pro, and 2021 iPad Mini
The top pick for the best cheap phones is the Pixel 6A, a device that is our favorite phone. The great performance, camera, and battery life of the Pixel 6A is not usually on sale, but it is still a great value. If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better deal than this. The Pixel 6 is also discounted to $399 ($200 off), an all-time low, and the Pixel 6 Pro is $649 ($250 off) if you want a bigger device and better cameras. Read more about them here.
The smaller of Samsung’s folding phones, the Z Flip4 feels like a “normal” phone when it’s unfolded, but fold it up and it’ll slip into some seriously small pockets. It’s almost like a StarTak, but with a real screen. The battery won’t keep you going through the day. Still, if you’ve been wanting a folding phone, this deal is the cheapest we’ve seen on this new model.
Apple’s 2021 iPad Mini (8/10, WIRED Recommends) looks like an iPad Pro with slimmer bezels and a smaller, 8.3-inch screen. Its portable size makes it great for traveling. You might even be able to fit it into your cargo pants pocket.

This is a good deal with the added shipping and costs but it is very similar to another good deals we have seen. We like Thermapens a lot. This specific model is featured in our Best Gifts for Home Chefs guide, while a slightly more expensive thermometer from the brand is included in our Best Grills and Best Grilling Accessories guides. The Thermapen One has a backlight that allows for accurate temperature taking, and it spits out a temperature reading in one second. It folds down flat for easy storage.
A deal like this has not happened in a while. If you missed it, you can still buy it now, though the chances are it won’t be on sale again at this price in the future. This expensive espresso machine has a built in burr grinder and hot water spout. Just load it with beans and use the digital display to make drinks at home. These go on sale frequently during the holidays, but this is a solid price if you’re in the market and you don’t want to wait. I have the same thing on my desk. It is great for people who do not have a lot of counter space. There are a lot of colors on sale. A refill makes the brew more economical.
Many different weights of AmazonBasics dumbbell are on sale for historically low prices, a great way to use free weights at home. We haven’t tested them on our own, but they have good reviews. Some reviews mention the rubber has a bad odor on arrival, but a few days of ventilation should nix that if it arises. Note that these are sold individually, so you’ll need to add two to your cart if you’re trying to get a pair.

The Colgate Hum is the best toothbrush for a smart toothbrush. It’s slim and light, with a small brush head that can reach to the back of your mouth without causing discomfort. The Hum costs significantly less than most app-connected brushes, and the mobile app’s features are superior to other options.

I’ve used a single-tank version of this Vornado humidifier for two years and have been impressed with its fan’s ability to circulate the humidified air throughout the room. Setting the desired humidity level can be done with ease, and it is also possible to fill it with water once a day.
WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu has been testing this air purifier for a few months and likes it. It’s on the larger side, so you’ll need to make room for it, but it can clean the air in a 517-square-foot room in 26 minutes. The filters are pricey. You can connect it to the Smartmi app and use it to control it without leaving your house.

The Best Value Deal for the Best Robot Vacuum: Comparison Between Acer’s 12-Generation CPU, Acer XPS 13 Plus, OLED Display and Thunderbolt 4
It’s a good deal on one of our favorite budget robot vacs. The app is simple and easy to use, the vacuum is quiet and powerful, and it has stellar navigation capabilities.
The deal price is exactly the same as what we saw during Prime Day. It may have been around for a bit but it is still one of the best deals for the best robot vacuum. The robovac has everything, with smart navigation features and self-emptying bin, as well as custom cleaning schedules.
The Dell’s ultrabook is still one of our favorites. The base model of the deal is $750. You get the specs above, with a 12-generation Intel chip, paired with the 1,920 x 1,200-pixel display. This is a different Dell XPS 13 Plus design than the one you can see here. If you need more power, the Intel Core i7 model with 16 gigabytes of RAM is also on sale for $1,200 ($150 off).
We really like the AMD version (8/10, WIRED Recommends) of this laptop, and the Intel model offers much the same. With an 11th-gen Intel Core i7 chip, 8 GB of RAM, a 512-GB SSD, and Thunderbolt 4, it’s a great productivity combo for hybrid workers or students. The OLED display is bright and crisp too.
We initially loved Acer’s 2021 version of the Swift 3, but it started a little more expensive. This notebook is a better buy now that it’s more affordable. It wraps a powerful Intel Core i7 chip, 8 GB of RAM, and a 256-GB SSD in a thin, no-nonsense design with a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel IPS LCD display.
The most expensive mechanical keyboards have the same mechanical switches and lightsync lighting as the Logitech G413, but the one we prefer under $100 is a toned-down keyboard. It’s an excellent pick if you’re not interested in a decked-out gaming keyboard, or if you’re just getting started.
Free Streaming Games and Webcams with a Nintendo Joy-Con or Wiig-Con Switch for a Four-Player Game
Everyone should be in the game. If you’ve been puttering around with only the one stock Joy-Con controller that came with your Nintendo Switch, pick up another official Nintendo Joy-Con so you have a friend to beat in Super Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. The two halves can be detached from each other and used as two controllers in certain games, so for $64 you could be enjoying four-player free-for-alls.

This is our favorite gaming headset for under $100. The Arctis Nova is just as sturdy as a more expensive option for budget headphones. They offer a clear and rich sound. They dipped lower to $48 earlier this month, but this is still a good deal.

This deal was a few dollars cheaper on Prime Day, but this is still a great deal. This is one of the best TVs you can buy for bright rooms. This deal is a pretty significant discount at this 75-inch size. The QN90B is made of metal and has mini-LED back lighting which gives it an excellent contrast in bright rooms. The screen can be refreshed at up to 120hz for gaming.
The Apple TV 4K is a good streaming box for Apple fans who enjoy being able to control their viewing with voice commands. The second-generation model has an improved voice remote.

The Bottom Up: Google TV with Chromecast, the ColorBuds, and the Runner-up Pair of Inexpensive Wireless Earphones
I’ve used Sanus mounts for years, and this one has been a favorite because it’s easy to tilt upward or downward and side to side, or to extend, yet it also feels solid. After all, you don’t want your precious TV depending on a piece of flimsy metal to keep it from crashing down. You can extend the FLT1 up to 5 inches from the wall or push it nearly flat against it to save room, and you can tilt it to get a better viewing angle from wherever you’re sitting. It’ll work with nearly all TVs that weigh 80 pounds or less and have screens measuring 32-70 inches.
We’ve tried many streaming devices and the one with the best interface is the new Google TV with Chromecast. It is easier to browse across platforms if you are just in the mood for something scary or looking for a specific title. If you don’t need a 4K device, Google has a new, cheaper HD-only Chromecast with Google TV for $20 ($10 off).
The small speakers that we like the most, are the JBL Clip 4. It’s cheap and waterproof, and it includes a carabiner clip at the top so you can clip it to your bag. The controls are large and easy to use, and it sounds great.
The Runner-up Pair of Inexpensive Wireless Earphones are the ColorBuds. They have six hours of battery life, support the AptX Bluetooth codec for better music quality, and have several ear tips in the box so you can get a good fit. There’s an IPX5 rating so they will be fine in the rain and during workouts, and they’re super comfy to wear. You’ll save the most money on the green ones, but pink and gold are also on sale for a bit more money.
Right now, our top noise-canceling headphones are even cheaper. Thanks to the decent hybrid active noise-canceling tech and class-leading 40-hour playtime, these are a great cheap model to buck the noise of planes, trains, and automobiles. Just be careful, because they’re a bit fragile; the plastic headband can crack if you sit on it.
Regardless of the laptop speakers a manufacturer brags about, they’re going to sound tinny and small. The sound quality of these speakers will give you a noticeable upgrade for listening to music, watching movies, and playing video games.
Our reviewer came away impressed from testing the speaker because it was capable of making music sound good. There’s no need to place it in a room. The three drivers spread music to create a full listening experience even on a covered patio.
These earbuds are our most popular cheap option. They have decent sound and will get you 8 hours of battery life (in addition to the included charging case). There’s also a built-in USB cable, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting or losing your charger. You can choose between several fun colors.

The A8 offers some features that aren’t found in the A-series ofGalaxy tablets, like a metal case and speakers, even though it is considered an economical choice. The 128 gigabytes of storage in this model is larger than that in the other model.
If you want to upgrade, you can do so for a little more. The Tab S7 Plus has an AMOLED screen for a much better viewing experience (brighter colors, deeper blacks), a 120-Hz screen refresh rate that’ll feel buttery smooth every time you interact with it, and a fantastic quad-speaker system. You can work on it if you pair it with a keyboard and use Samsung’s DeX mode.

It also pairs well with the best iPad accessories.
