How to Find a VPN that identifies you as a foreign country: Using VPN’s recommend NordVPN and PrinodVPN
Find and install a VPN that can identify you as coming from that country. Two of the VPNs that my colleagues have recommended are NordVPN and PrinodVPN.

You’re also out of luck if you have a new iPhone and tried to transfer your existing TikTok app over from your previous phone — according to Apple’s support page, the apps “can’t be redownloaded if deleted or restored if you move to a new device.” (TikTok has a good number of videos expressing the frustration of new iPhone owners.)
You’ll get a choice of TikTok Lite (a smaller version that takes up 34.3MB) and TikTok (409MB). The Lite version is meant for older, slower phones and for use with slower internet connections. Select which one you want to download.
You will be told that your phone cannot install unknown apps once you have downloaded and selected Open. change it in your settings if you get the notice. There will be a link to your Settings in the notice; tap it.
You can allow unknown applications on your phone if you go back into settings, and select the option to turn them off.
Even though I used TikTok in the browsers, I couldn’t create a video. When I hit Allow, the site tried to open another app and then tried to download the fake TikTok app.

This isn’t including the annoyances of the pop-ups and nudgings telling me that I could download the app but it does include the fact that it wasn’t available to download.
Apple has a lot of things in place to make sure users are not visiting the wrong region. Getting around that involves a lot of work and may not happen, it’s just a lot more work than just using a PureVPN and setting your location outside the US.

Tik Tok was not available to users in the region that they were in, but they were able to find it elsewhere on the App Store. A “Learn more” link sent users to a long article explaining why the app was gone and a reminder that they wouldn’t receive any updates for as long as the ban was in place. Downloads for the app are paused due to US legal requirements, according to the play store. Some of the competing apps saw a rise in usage.
Right before taking office, Trump proposed that the US could have 50 percent ownership of TikTok, without specifying what he meant. The president reportedly recently tapped Vice President JD Vance to lead the negotiations between ByteDance and potential buyers. A group of investors including Oracle could possibly take control of the platform.
