It is hard to look back and remember what happened. The diary was recorded shortly after they finished their royal duties in March 2020 in the first episode.
He said that he became concerned about the security of his family because of the intrusion of the media.

Charles is making the case that the House of Windsor can help unite an increasingly diverse nation by using the early days of his reign to meet with many of the ethnic groups and faiths that make up modern Britain.
Buckingham Palace reiterated it will not comment on the documentary on Thursday. King Charles and his consort, the Queen Consort, will visit a community kitchen in London and attend a christmas service with the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as other members of the family.
The couple have spoken before about the constraints placed on them while members of the royal family, and that frustration re-emerged repeatedly in the documentary.

The program will be watched carefully in the U.K., where even the teasers were criticized for offering misleading images to back up the emotive narration alleging misogyny, unfair media treatment and racism.
In one section of the film, clips of photographers are used to show old footage of Princess Diana being followed by the media as Harry says in a voiceover, that the “Pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy.” … I was terrified, I didn’t want history to repeat itself.”
However, one of the clips used to illustrate his words appears to show reporters and photographers waiting for TV star Katie Price arriving outside Crawley Magistrates Court, Sky News reported.
There is a hierarchy of the family, according to Harry over an image of the balcony of Buckingham Palace. “You know, there’s leaking, but there’s also planting of stories.”

Describing the early years of her daughter’s childhood, Ragland – who is African American – recalled repeatedly being asked if she was the nanny as her daughter’s skin was lighter.
Oblivious to royal protocol, she said she was “barefoot” and wearing ripped jeans at the time. She described herself as a “hugger,” but said that this can be “jarring” for some British people.
“I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside carried through on the inside,” she said. “That formality carries over on both sides, and that was surprising to me.”
It was Harry who said how do you explain to your grandmother that you bow to her? And that you all need to curtsy. Especially to an American. That is odd.
He went on to say that his family was impressed, though they were unsure about the difference between their upbringing and her, and that she was a Hollywood actress, which meant “this won’t last.”

Later in his review, Morgan cautions viewers they may need a “sick bucket.” He was not alone in his distress. The first three episodes were so sickening, I almost brought up my breakfast, according to the article in the Guardian.
In regards to the series thus far, though, it has plenty of sweet moments, such as Prince Harry and MEG being charming and funny together, but she ultimately finds the end product wanting.
But in the end — what are we left with? Exactly the same story we always knew, told in the way we would expect to hear it from the people who are telling it. Those who don’t care won’t watch. People who are voyeuristically invested in the real-life soap opera will keep reading into it and confirm their previous ideas. There is more to come, especially from Harry’s mention of members of the royal Family who are against allowing anyone else to avoid what their own spouses went through. Which is to say that it is very difficult to determine who the villains of the piece will really gain from this.

In the trailer, she said she felt like she had been fed to the wolves. Elsewhere in that clip, Harry hit out at “institutional gaslighting” and appeared to accuse the palace of being comfortable with protecting Prince William but not his own family.
Prince Harry said that it was terrifying to see his brother, Prince William, yelling at him during his separation from the royal family.
Harry told the family at the meeting that he wanted a half in, half out arrangement where they would have their own jobs and work in support of the Queen. “But it became very clear very quickly that that goal was not up for discussion or debate,” Harry said.
You have to understand that there are ways of doing things, especially from her perspective. Her ultimate goal is to responsibility and she will go on the advice she has been given.
When someone who should be a supporting act is marrying in, stealing the spotlight from the person who is born to do this or is doing the job better than them, that is the issue. That upsets people. Harry said the balance was shifted by it.
“That upsets people. It upsets the balance. Because you have been led to believe that the only way that your charities can succeed and your mission can grow is if you are on the front pages of those newspapers.”

“The seriousness of what has happened to her and what … happened to us, and what continues to happen to her, that needs to be acknowledged,” said Harry.
“And that’s the piece when you see it and you go, ‘You are making people want to kill me,’” added the duchess. It is more than just a tabloid. It’s not just some story. You are making me scared. Right?
The brothers issued a joint statement in January 2020 denying that William was to blame for the rift in the royal family.
In the video, Harry claims he was not aware of the statement. He said that nobody had asked him to put his name in the statement.
