New York State Civil Actions against “Diddy” Combs, aka Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones and Gooding Jr.

The latest of those suits, by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who worked on Combs’ latest release, was updated on Monday, to include actor Cuba Gooding Jr. as a defendant. Gooding Jr. did not respond immediately after being asked about it.

After signing a 10-album deal with Bad Boy Entertainment in the mid-2000’s, singer Cimonia Ventura accused the company’s founder and CEO of years of sexual harassment, assault, sex trafficking and rape.

Ventura’s civil suit was filed in New York Superior Court under the state’s Adult Survivors Act, a New York law permitting victims of sexual abuse a one-year window to file civil action regardless of the statute of limitations of the crimes themselves.

The raids come amid several civil lawsuits filed in recent months, accusing Combs and others within his inner circle of sex trafficking, sexual assault, including rape, and domestic violence.

The Los Angeles television station KTLA had footage of several police vehicles stationed near a large home. The teams of agents in bulletproof vests appeared to take items from the home as they were questioned by the officials.

The mansion that is in Los Angeles is not owned by the music mogul, but is used by his company, Bad Boys Film Production.

The raids and the investigation were only described as being carried out with assistance from Los Angeles, Miami and New York.

Teams of federal agents, including Homeland Security Investigative officials, were seen raiding two homes associated with rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs on Monday.

Cassie Ventura of Bad Boy Entertainment vs. Sean Combs: “A witch hunt for a young star with a sexually-informed attorney”

In a separate civil lawsuit from November 2023, singer Cassie Ventura, who had signed a 10-album deal with Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment when she was 19, accused Combs of years of sexual misconduct, harassment, sex trafficking and rape. The suit was settled the day after it was filed.

The haste by law enforcement to judgment of Mr.Combs is a witch hunt, as evidenced by the meritless accusations made in the civil lawsuits.

Dryer said Combs was not detained during the exchange and that he cooperated with authorities. The lawyer said that none of Combs’ family members have been arrested nor have their ability to travel been restricted.

The 54-year-old was spotted pacing outside of Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport where he was accompanied by some family members, the New York Times reported. The outlet said Combs was stopped by federal agents who “took a number of electronic devices” from him.

The attorney for Sean “Diddy” Combs said Tuesday that the military-level force used as search warrants were executed was excessive. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”
