Copilot – Using Intelligence to Provide Help to Privacy and Security in Windows, Edge, Bing, and other Web Browsers

With your privacy and security at the forefront, Copilot will use context, intelligence, and what you are doing on your PC to give you better assistance – with your privacy and security at the forefront. It will be a simple and seamless experience, available in Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and in our web browser with Edge and Bing. It will work as an app or reveal itself when you need it with a right click.

Copilot is a handshake between you and technology that can happen when you need it and can’t be found during the week.

Copilot in Windows will allow you to control some parts of your desktop by voice or text, such as arranging windows, toggling dark mode, and launching a specific streaming service. This is a big change from the current Start menu text box, which fails to find relevant files or settings on the computer or fails to find them on the web. We’ll see!

Visualizing and Using Surface Surface Studio: Two Years After the Launch of the Surface Laptop Studio–Two Generations Revisited

The Microsoft event took place in New York City. The company used the occasion to show off two new laptops from its house made Surface line as well as a slew of enhancements coming to Windows 11 later this month. We watched the demos and went hands-on with the new devices, but the presentation did not have a live stream. The highlights are below.

Bing can be used to shop for stuff. Microsoft says the Shopping tab will get Copilot treatment, as well as being able to call the assistant for help finding what you want to buy. If you use Copilot you will be guided through a series of questions so it can help you understand what you’re looking for and show you relevant shopping recommendations. This fall, it will be available.

Two years have passed since the launch of the first-gen Surface Laptop Studio and there is now a second-generation model. Like its predecessor, it comes with a 14.4-inch screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 hertz and a dualhinge mounting system that allows you to place it in different angles. There’s a Laptop mode for full access to the keyboard and touchpad; Stage mode, where you can move the display toward you and deprioritize the keyboard for playing games and watching movies; and Studio mode for drawing and writing as you would on a tablet.
