The newest iteration of the mobile device, the Apple iPhone 15, has a lot of changes. The long-lived buttons on the side of the phone have been replaced with a button on the bottom of the phone and the notch at the top of the screen has been removed. It’s a lot! But which iPhone 15 model is best for you? Does a certain model have enough enhancements to make it worth the money? If you’ve been mulling these questions ever since Apple debuted the new handsets, don’t worry—I’m here to help. I break down the differences between each model to see which one is right for you, and if you should upgrade at all.

Our common answer to this question is actually a question we ask you: Is your current smartphone doing OK? If it’s doing just fine and you’re still receiving updates, then the answer is no. If you have an iPad, you should also be aware that they’re still pretty recent. If you are having battery life issues but everything else is OK, then you may want to explore a battery replacement for a nominal fee first. Many customers of the new line of phones say their original capacity is less than one year old, as the battery health capacity is dropping off faster than before. It will be some time before we can determine if the iPhone 15 series experiences the same kind of degradation.
